ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Siddhant Tanpure. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Software Engineering at Arizona State University. I enjoy challenges and looking for creative solutions.

I worked as a Software Engineer at Tata Research Development and Design Center for 1 year 7 months which gave me a very good understanding of platform design and development, testing, service deployment, and maintenance experience. During this time I also worked with various stakeholder relationship to get consensus on various solutions designed. My love for technology led me to work for University Technology Office as a student worker at Arizona State University where I manage all university's digital equipment. This opportunity helped me improve my trouble shooting skills and customer service skills. I have a strong foundation of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design which always helps me to design robust solutions for complex assignments or projects. I love playing Table Tennis, solving coding challenges on different coding platforms such as hackerrank, geeks for geeks etc., reading novels, and learning about new technology on Courseera. I am also passionate about application development, web development, data science, Front-end/back-end development, API development and cloud computing.

I am currently seeking a position as a Software Engineering Summer Intern or Co-operative Education (Co-op) during the fall 2017 semester which will utilize my software engineering skills, abilities, and experiences gained through relevant education and projects to contribute to the ongoing success of the company.

Project Lead and Developer "PLPTool- Arizona State University" in May 2017 to May 2018

Led a team of six & developed a WebApp IDE for assembly programs (Java Spring Boot & Bootstrap)

Implemented asynchronous & reliable communication between distributed processes using RabbitMQ

Created a data path visualizer feature to display execution of pipelined & non-pipelined assembly programs

Organized and managed GitHub repository for PLP IDE, resolved issues/bugs and reviewed pull requests

Worked on IGNIO: Cognitive System for enterprise IT Ops to help it to connect to SAP systems using SAP and Java knowledge

Gathered different requirements from different SAP stakeholders and designed new processes to automate existing processes

Performed various testing such as unit testing, system testing, integration testing etc. to validate reliability of the product and delivered robust solutions

Designed visualizer in Progressive Learning Platform (PLP) tool August 2016 to December 2016

Designed PLP visualizer using Java knowledge which will show execution of each cycle in a graph of a processor

The graph is designed using j-graph and contained all the components present in a processor

PLP Visualizer will help future students to understand the pipelining processes that happen at each clock cycle in a processor

Generated data will be stored in a google spreadsheet automatically so that the data can be manipulated as per the need and the problems in the rooms can be identified easily

An application development in cloud using Video as a Service August 2013 to April 2014

Designed a website using HTML5 in cloud which can accept user-uploaded videos and stored it in the cloud

Used MD5 algorithm to encrypt sensitive information and stored it in the database

Published two papers on this project one in STM journal and another in International conference on Science and technology

Exam system January 2012 to August 2012

Designed an online exam system using Java and Microsoft Access

Designed for students and faculties so that students can give exams simultaneously and faculties can evaluate performace of the class

Provided features like login, signup, timer, validations and printing results etc.
